Joy Brown is the owner and instructor at Bordeau Dance Studio and opened her doors in 2005. Joy earned her BFA in Dance Performance from Missouri State University. She is currently the varsity dance team Coach for Grandview High School where she prepares her dancers for local performances and competitions. Over the years Joy has continued her dance education by attending various classes and dance conventions in cities such as New York City, Kansas City, and Orlando just to name a few.

Joy has had the pleasure of continuing her teacher training with various instructors such as Mia Michaels, Travis Wall, Denise Wall, Marty Dw, Fik-Shun, Jamie Goodwin, Meghan Sannett, Tiffany Maher, Joe Tremaine, Kari Anderson, Terrill Mitchell, and many more. Joy has been dancing for over 40 years and loves sharing her passion and love for dance with her students. At Bordeau Dance Studio, we have classes for every aspiring dancer who wants to ignite their passion for dance!
